750, capped. Thanks, Dany! Hazy, rubied, burnished medium gold. Thick, creamy egg-white head. Gamey, nutty, sweet/grassy nose. Creamy medium body. Active carb. Bone-dry finish and throughout, but has sweet grass and lemon notes dancing around here and there as well...amazing balancing act between mouthfeel and flavors. Rich and complex and perfectly harmonious. And as for the abv...this beer can’t possibly have that much alcohol in it. It’s too light to hide it. Just spectacular work here.

Bouteille 750ml (2007).

750ml, vintage 2007 from glouglouburp. Pretty damn good! Pours hazy dark yellow with a billowing, fluffy, white head, great retention, total sheet lace. Smells yeasty and bready with some spice notes and slight sweet fruit scents. Tastes similar to the way it smells. Bready and yeasty sweet, again some spiciness and a good bit of peach type stone fruit flavor. Medium body with crisp, vibrant carbonation,

WOW! Aroma was or some spices, pepper, and some candy sugar. Flavor was very mellow, but in a good way. It combined the spicey flavor of a saison with a nice banana flavor of a tripel. If I were to order a Belgian, this is what I would want.

Shared by Beerlando.Poured a golden color with a nice pillowy white head. The nose was hoppy with some citrus. Flavor was hoppy with a citrus zest and bananas. This finished off more bitter than it seemed in the flavor.Thanx Bryan.

750ml bottle dated 2007. Poured slightly cloudy gold in color with a MASSIVE foamy white head that left very nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is very floral, fruity, with a little lemongrass. Taste is spicy, floral, with a little banana with a nice hop finish. Thanks to Dickinsonbeer for sharing this one.

Poured a hazy golden color with a large, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, orange peel, pine, a bit of toasted dough, citrus fruits, light ginger, and other seemingly Belgian spices. Taste of pine, orange peel, citrus fruits, simcoe, white pepper, a bit of grass, and a bitter, finish with some alcohol in there as well. Thanks Paul!

Thanks to Glouglouburp for hooking me up. Pours a nice bright hazy gold/straw yellow with a massive sticky white head similar to houblon. Aroma is spicy phenolics and borders being awesome, and slightly offensive- mixes quite well with the massive ammounts of american and european hops which mask some of the yeasty phenolics. Doughy rich malty flavor - tons of pils malts, light nuttiness, and great hop character, fruity, citrus, tons of earth and herbal hops, light grapefruit, and perfect balance in the mouthfeel. One of the very few beers in this new "style" that actually turned out great. Houblon, and Xtra Gold batch 2 are the only beers that can compare to this.
