[903-20071204] Tap @ Charlie & Jake’s (Melbourne, FL). Aroma has a bit of orange zest hops. Hazy, brown orange body with a quick bubbly off-white head. Wheaty yeast and hoppy flower petals flavour has a bit of a weird bitter lemon finish. Medium body is bitter. Interesting to try, plus it just came out on this day.

On tap. Golden ale with little head. Very fruity aromas in the nose, and the taste was pretty decent. Pretty hoppy. Has a "red" taste to it as well.

Draft... Clear golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Grapefruit and evergreen notes constitute the aroma along with subtleties of English toffee and spent mash. The flavor leans just a touch on the sweet side, but decent balance is pulled off with the assistance of a measured helping of moderately bitter, wet and dry hops. Light to medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Coarse, mildly bitter finish. This brew screams of an English IPA infused with American hops!

Gold in color. Aroma is lacking but the little it has is hops with a small hint of citrus. Taste is hops. Not bad

Draft at brewpub. Poured a hazy copper with an average frothy white head that did not diminish and produced good lacing. Medium sweet hoppy aroma. Medium body. Solid balanced hoppy flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration.

Sampler--Once again for Charlie and Jake’s, there wasn’t any aroma to be found. What is it with their beers and aroma? It had quite a bit of carbonation. An ok APA.

No aroma to speak of. Gold in color. Heavy visible carbonation. White, whispy head and great lace. Creamy mouthfeel; not overly hoppy like the description says it is. Now, it's possible the waitress accidentally switched the samples with the Patrick Pilsener on the sampler sheet, as that one was easily the hoppiest brew of the 7 I tried.
