unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Jul 29, 2009 tap. clear golden yellow color. thin white head. Aroma of wheat, lots of hops. Mostly Cascade and some fuggles. Nice earthy grassiness. Flavor is a grassy wheat malt character. Full flavored. Wheat flavors linger on the palate. Finishes with a nice bitter hop. NJBeerman013 (761), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Apr 21, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Pale yellow in color, light and citrusy in aroma, it has a nice balance of cirusy sour notes, wheaty grainyness, and malty smoothness. It is light in body, and definitely thirst quenching. It did the trick to help me and my northern blood deal with the heat of sunny Florida. TaktikMTL (2739), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada Mar 27, 2009 En fût. (Rating #2261) nick76 (2634), Tampa, Florida, USA Mar 7, 2009 The aroma is weak and watery with malt and some yeast like elements of fruit and spice but it’s not much. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma with a nice wheat finish. The palate is thin. Overall pretty average but I do like it. Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 21, 2009 Run of the mill wheat beer, had at the bewpub. Yellow, some lace, a little head. Sour, drying. On the thin side. mgumby10 (1844), Jupiter, Florida, USA Feb 9, 2009 Sample at the brewpub. Pourd a fairly clear straw gold color, with a medium white head. Smeel was pretty mild overall, mostly just traces of citrus and faint wheat esters. The flavor was just as mild and bland. It went down easy enough, just isnt what I want from a wheat beer. too much citrus concentrated and not enough banana or wheat characters. wasnt offensive, wont try again. Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Nov 1, 2008 Poured up on tap at the brewpub clear gold with thin white head. The aroma is mildly roasty with solid inviting wheat notes. The taste starts malty sweet before solid wheat notes just take over completely. Into the finish sweet malts re-surface along with a small bite from possibly a noble hop or two. Very tasty wheat brew. kiefdog (1534), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 31, 2008 On tap at brewhouse in Melbourne, FL. Pours a clear golden color with one finger white head. Aroma is fairly standard for a wheat ale: grass, hay, wheat, bread, some hints of citrus. Flavor is very similar to the aroma with some added sweet malt, honey and hoppy notes. Generally light bodied with a slightly hoppy finish. Respectable wheat ale.
