As fantastic IPA as I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. Sweet nose with wafts of floral hoppiness and a light biscuity note. Strong caramel malt character with with light a subtle offering of great citrus, pine, and resin that fit together like a latex glove. Fresh hops are wonderfully showcased without being overtly abusive to the palate. Creamy mouthfeel and a solid earthy dry finish. Smooth. rich and complex - A masterpiece brew.

Bottle:   Dirty caramel, reddish hue, moderate to large frothy off-white head, pockets of sticky lacing.   Dull malty nose, soft hop background, slightly mealy.   Seems a little muted for a fresh hop style.   Its full bodied, good malt base, but the hops are really muted.   A very robust Pale Ale.   Doesn’t seem like your normal PNW IPA.   Yeah, very big bodied Pale Ale.   Not bright nor floral.   Decent, just not as fresh as I thought it would be.   Meh.

22oz bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a white head. Tasted a lot of citrus and orange in this beer with mild hops. Overall a great drinking beer and would buy again.

22 oz bottle. Pours a deep orange/amber with a smaller bubbly off white head that left some spotty lacing. Aroma of sweet citrusy hop notes, mostly getting orange, some light caramel malt notes, light grassy notes are still present although starting to fade away (this beer has probably been in the bottle for at least 3-4 months at this point. The flavor is fresh and hoppy. Getting mostly pine, grapefruit, lemon and grass out of the hop flavors. Bitterness is exactly where I like in for an IPA (aggresive yet not over the top). The malts to help to balance this beer with some caramel, nuts and cereal characeter. The classic Rogue Pacman yeast strain is present in both aroma and flavor.

22oz. Bottle: Faint aroma of fresh hops and caramel malts. Poured orange/amber in color with a small, creamy, loose, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is lightly bitter. Tasted of fresh hops, caramel malts, and a hint of Earth. Medium body. Slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Fresh hop, caramel malt, and slight toasted finish. Boring.

Bomber. Clear, darkish copper with a small lasting disc of cream. Mild aroma is earthy tea leaf and molasses. Faint hints of butterscotch and orange marmalade. Flavor is tea leaf, orangewood, and dark toffee. Long finish of bitter leaf and wood. Medium body is smooth and lightly carbonated.

Bottle at Mike’s place: Hazy deep orange with a tan film. Fruity hop aroma- some peachy notes and a crystal malt background. Light fluffy body with a mild flavor that is dominated by a vegetal hop presence.Fairly nondescript with a grainy/worty body and a light resiny finish. A one dimensional and boring IPA.
