Commercial Description:
The brew is a tribute to the Chautauqua Lake Region of western New York. There was a time when brewers dotted the landscape over which eagles soured. Today two have returned. Specially brewed for the citizens of our fine county; this beer will not be sold anywhere but here. Inspired by the former Jamestown Brewing Company, defunct now for seventy-five years, this beer is brewed with only the finest ingredients and warranted strictly pure.

Pours a light amber with a fizzy white head. Has the aroma of citrus malts, caramel and hops. The flavor is of mostly grain with a hint of caramel, and fruit. This brew is made only a few miles from where I live in ole Jamestown. I’m glad to have tried it.

this is the most basic, standard beer southern tier brews, IMO. it’s only sold (supposedly) in chautauqua county, NY. it’s a nice brew, still beats the hell out of any big name beers, but it’s not as nice as southern tier’s other offerings. pours golden amber with a white head. aroma is light and malty, smells like a flowery lager, really. taste is malt with a smidge of hops, very light. mid-light body that finishes clean. a great beer if you don’t want to buy the mass-marketed piss that it shares the shelf with.

22 oz. bottle my mother-in-law brought back from NY - Pours a very slighlty hazy light golden color with a one and a half finger thick white head. Very light, tiny bubbled carbonation. No lacing to speak of. Aroma is soapy with light grain and light esters. Flavor is lightly sweetened grain and light fruity esters. Light to medium body. Nothing fancy, but worth a try. Not sure if I want to drink the whole bottle.

Clean light golden colour with thin white head. Light malty aroma with some kind of citrusy background. Flavour is mute, kind of a light acidic bready malt. Watery body.

On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY a while ago. Was told this was made for the Southern Tier of NY & North West PA to combat Yeungling. Nothing real special like Yeungling. Caramely malty amber. Nothing great but nothing bad. I think thay accomplished their goal
