Commercial Description:
The brew is a tribute to the Chautauqua Lake Region of western New York. There was a time when brewers dotted the landscape over which eagles soured. Today two have returned. Specially brewed for the citizens of our fine county; this beer will not be sold anywhere but here. Inspired by the former Jamestown Brewing Company, defunct now for seventy-five years, this beer is brewed with only the finest ingredients and warranted strictly pure.

Bomber courtesy of cbkschubert. Corn and somewhat skunky aroma took me by surprise seeing bottle stated it was an amber ale. Yellow body with white head. Wet maled corn swill flavor that had a mediun bitter bite. Cool bottle with the big eagle on it.

22 oz. bottle my mother-in-law brought back from NY - Pours a very slighlty hazy light golden color with a one and a half finger thick white head. Very light, tiny bubbled carbonation. No lacing to speak of. Aroma is soapy with light grain and light esters. Flavor is lightly sweetened grain and light fruity esters. Light to medium body. Nothing fancy, but worth a try. Not sure if I want to drink the whole bottle.

On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY a while ago. Was told this was made for the Southern Tier of NY & North West PA to combat Yeungling. Nothing real special like Yeungling. Caramely malty amber. Nothing great but nothing bad. I think thay accomplished their goal

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Grainy malty aroma, light sweetness, light hops. The flavor also has grainy malt, with some light caramel sweetness and a hint of floral hops. Not bad.

Clean light golden colour with thin white head. Light malty aroma with some kind of citrusy background. Flavour is mute, kind of a light acidic bready malt. Watery body.

Draught at New Beer. Grainy malty aroma, notes of wheat, banana. The color is pale yellow, tinge of red, white head. The flvaor is malts, cereal grains, wheat, banana, The finish is like the flavor, not much bitterness, more sweet. The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium. Not bad, not great. It’s a little wierd how this beer pulled in some of the characteristics of a weiss bier.

On tap at the Empty Pint - poured clear deep golden, not really amber at all, with a frothy white head. Fruity, mineral green apple notes in the nose, and the flavour holds a pleasant light malt sweetness and mild hop bitterness in the finish. Solid, well-crafted all-malt lawnmower/fishing beer - nothing more, nothing less. Perhaps a golden/blonde ale? Seemed a bit light for an amber...
