Good body, strong malt and caramel flavor, but also burning alcohol; vanilla oak touch; correct bitterness. It reminds me some Wheat Wine. Powerful but unimpressive. adrian910ss (1436), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a dark amber brown body that is for the most part clear. The aroma is slight sharp alcohol, dark fruit, and something else. The flavor is the same, at the festival it is listed as 11.5% abv - and it hides it considerably well. Pwn3d (1134), Manhattan, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 5, 2009 On tap at rattle and hum. For living so close to these guys, I really haven’t gotten around to try them out. Maybe I have a hard on for the style but serious this was awesome. Ultra mellow and musky. Loaded with alcohol which you can’t taste in the least. Toasty, doughy and sweet cereals. Slight funk (starfruit), dried out hops, and bubblegum. Mouthfeel is medium light. riversideAK (2808), Shoreline, Washington, USA
