Slipstream (357), USA Nov 13, 2007 Updated: Apr 15, 2008On tap growler from the Whole Foods beer store. Dark gold with a big, fluffy head and a tangy, yeasty aroma. A rich, hoppy brew with a pleasant, yeasty bitterness. A little peppery - it tickles the sinuses, then finishes smoothly. Nice! egajdzis (2969), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 28, 2007 Poured a lightly hazy amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of perfume, floral hops, light citrus fruits, and fresh-cut grass. Taste of citrus fruits, light toffee, toasted dough, with pine, light tobacco, and a bitter, grapefruit finish. JAF737300 (733), New York, New York, USA Oct 23, 2007 Tap Pour....Huge notes of hops and citrus. It has a deep hop flavosr that does not overpower the palate but shows nicely through the final finish. PilsnerPeter (1408), Flushing, New York, USA Oct 3, 2007 Tap at Barcade: Nice deep orange pour topped by a lacing, off-white, consistent head. The nose is full of crisp hop leaves, hints of lychee, and fresh soft citruses. Bright and welcoming. Has a creamy texture and a nice pine-y flavor. Fresh soft citrus flavors go well with a grainy, almost earthy hop resins. Very chewy fresh hop character overall. The finish is resiny, bitter, mildly spicy and long. Whether this is classified as an APA or IPA, it’s a solid, fresh-hop-filled Ale. JoeMcPhee (3692), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Dec 16, 2006 Tap at CBC. Amber beer, white head. Very fresh spicy hop aroma. Goldings-esque, but also showing a bit more resin than I associate with that hop. Slightly woody character over light crystal malt and sweet breadiness. Warming really freshens the hops up, allowing soft peach and mango character come out as well as sharpening the previously mentioned spiciness. Long resiny bitterness. Nice IPA.
