A blonde ale with a thick lacing white head. Pleasant light malt aroma with light Czech hops. In mouth, a light crisp malt with light mineral notes, light hops, boring. On tap at House of Brews, 46th St., July 2 2009. Came as part of Burger special, 10$.

Pours a transparent light yellow with thin white head. Aroma is a bit buttery with some malt. Flavor is buttered popcorn and malt. It started out bland but got better near the middle. Smooth and enjoyable.

On draft at Spuyten Duyvil. Pours a corn yellow colour with a thin white head. Flavor of corn, honey, grains, yeast, and malts. Aroma is similar. Sweet and a bit dry. Not great by any means.

The weakest of the Chelsea brews I’ve tried. Just not a lot there. A pale, thinly grained beer that I had as part of the "sampler". Not impressive for craft beer lovers, though not offensive.

Had it on tap at the brewery. Light all around, generally unimpressive. I get that that’s what a Koelsch generally is, but you are better off with anything else they have on tap.

Location: On tap at the Brew Pub Sept ’08

Overall Impression: This was a half decent Blonde, but nothing special, but hey, I don’t love Blondes anyway (the beers that is).
