Jul 14, 2008 unassuming beer that is moderate in character flavor and mouthfeel. it is quite refreshing and has quality flavors of cocoa and coffee. my taste detected little in the bitter area. the beer is somewhat velvety to me in deference to other declarations of creaminess. the beer seemed more of a summer stout to me. while watery it did have a quality sweetness and touch of spice to it. not bad at all

Jul 3, 2008 Draft at Ginger Man. Pours a dark black body with tan head. A/F is coffee, sweet chocolate and creaminess. Very easy drinking for 6.5abv. A solid choice and a nice blend with a kriek.
