Jmichael (529), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Apr 15, 2008 pours a very carbonated with high head that is white with slight pink tone to it. whole pour turned to head as I poured it, very high frothy fizzy head, that was slow to disipate. very sweeet fruity sugary aroma. sweet front like koolaid and spritzy champaigne mouthfeel. great dessert drink, very good and sweet rasberry fruitiness.
nearbeer (1079), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 12, 2008 250 ml. Purple-brown and nearly opaque, with a spewing-from-the-bottle head that lasts. Aroma is raspberry, with a touch of cream and a hint of ozone. Flavor is the same. Light-medium body is acidic, slightly syrupy and too airy-frothy. cbkschubert (1519), Skyline, Arizona, USA Apr 12, 2008 Bottle from Sun Devil Liquor - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a thin white head. Faint spotty lacing. Aroma and flavor is a pleasant berry. This beer was actually an easy beer to drink. Not too tart, not too sweet, not too fruity. A pretty good beer. DoubleBubble (107), Mescal Lakes (wherever that is), Arizona, USA Apr 12, 2008 Pours a light amber color with a small foamy white head that disappears quickly. Very spotty lacing. Aroma of sweet fruit. Flavor is of raspberries, a little tart, but not as tart as your typical lambic. Fairly easy to drink. SuperDave70 (641), Arizona, USA Mar 27, 2008 Pours a clear red color with a foamy pink head. Aroma of raspberries and red fruits. Flavor is similar. Not overly sour, nor too artificial tasting. The best of the 3 Cherish Lambics.
