JagerQueen (123), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jun 14, 2004 Pours a reddish brown with a fluffy pink head. Aroma is fresh raspberries with a slightly tart, less that sweet musky scent that comes from the fruit. Flavor is similar, tart and sweet with only a little sharpness underneath that is vinegary and unpleasant. Finishes with a fruit juice flavor.
LilBeerDoctor (633), East Setauket, New York, USA Sep 28, 2008 Bottle sampled on 09/26/08 at Night of the Funk because the server looked a bit lonely. This turned out to be a really good beer though! Pours a deep reddish/pink with a light pink head. Aroma is quite nice and inviting: nice sweet raspberries with a slight tartness. Flavor of sugary sweet raspberries but so tasty! Delish! fredandboboflo (625), East Setauket, New York, USA Sep 28, 2008 Bottle from 08 Night of the Funk. Very Lindeman’s. Maybe a bit more syrupy. I don’t care if it’s all sweetened up, I still think it’s fun. couchand (138), West Amana, Iowa, USA Aug 23, 2008 Relatively hazy, some chunkiness, purplish reddish amber. Some long-lasting off-white head.
Strong sweet raspberry aroma, almost a sharp sweetness. Lightly tart, relatively sweet.
Lingering raspberry, pleasant tartness. nearbeer (1325), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 12, 2008 250 ml. Purple-brown and nearly opaque, with a spewing-from-the-bottle head that lasts. Aroma is raspberry, with a touch of cream and a hint of ozone. Flavor is the same. Light-medium body is acidic, slightly syrupy and too airy-frothy. Jmichael (582), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Apr 15, 2008 pours a very carbonated with high head that is white with slight pink tone to it. whole pour turned to head as I poured it, very high frothy fizzy head, that was slow to disipate. very sweeet fruity sugary aroma. sweet front like koolaid and spritzy champaigne mouthfeel. great dessert drink, very good and sweet rasberry fruitiness.
