Gravity cask at Maidstone BF. Used to have this a lot at The Mogul in Dover but haven’t had it in a bit and had almost forgotten how good this beer is. Terrific 3.8% session bitter. Dark gold really nice intense hop aroma, with some aramel and a bit of fruit to carry it through with some red berry fruit flavours and a crisp enjoyable hoppy dry finish. Excellent

Maidstone Beer Festival, 2005. This is a beautiful drinking beer. The flavours are clean, fresh, soft and very inviting. The delicacy is breath-taking, yet the flavours wrap around the tongue like a soft quilt. This is really what drinking beer is all about. A lovely day, a lovely setting and beautiful soft flavoursome drinking beers in the prime of condition. Perfick.

Apr 06 Gravity Cask @ The Flower Pot Inn. One last visit to the Flower Pots whilst cheriton beers were still available and some had been pending a re-rate. An excellent session beer combining delicate flavours with lots of drinkability. 4.2
Oct 05 Cask conditioned @ Black Boy, Winchester. Perfumey floral hops and juicy malt. Quite simple but everything works together excellently. 3.8
Mar 04 Cask-conditioned at Flower Pot Inn. Flowery hop aroma with faint grassy and fruit notes. Hoppiness continues in the mouth with almost sweet full malty mouthfeel and suprisingly little bitterness. A good session bitter which could have done with a touch more bitterness for me. Must be sampled fresh. 3.6

Cask conditioned at The Flower Pots Inn, Cheriton. Light brown to Golden beer with fluffy white head. Highly hoppy nose leading to a good balancing tasty malt. Hoppiness follows through to the aftertaste with a sweet peppery feel. Great session beer.
