Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival 09-05-08 Sulphur immediately apparent on the nose, the beer poured light gold with the merest hint of a haze showing. This was a bit sweet, quite simple tasting beer some fruit as well. I quite liked this and I suppose its a safe and straightforward beer for this new brewery.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Gold with white head. Light, thinnish, fruity bitter with a slight farmy nose, I noted pineapple in the background. Slight biscuit maltiness with a bitter finish. A good enough start for a local brewery.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock.
Sorry guys but this was well out of order. All I can do is call it how I drank it. Flat as a pancake clean gold. Lots of sulphur and a nasty metal tartness. Well out of order and I’m surprised at the Wenlock for allowing this to be served in all honesty.

Cask on gravity, Leicester BF. This review is brought to you by the wonders of steam-driven wireless t’internet. never mind the spiral --bound notebook: I’m now up into the Premiership of ubergeek reviewing! What? The beer? Well, it’s alright - I’ve not been wetting my pants to taste it like Mark has :-) A simple brew, a dash of citric lick, a clean taste, a crash of drums, a flash of light... an inoffensive light gold beer that’s suited to lazing on warm summer lawns.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. The holy grail. After weeks if not months of desperately seeking Cherwell, I walk into Leicester BF knowing this should be on but doubting, doubting, doubting. BUT; there it is. And its brother Cropredy Bridge is here too. As for the beer it’s golden orange in colour. No head, not prehaps as well conditioned as I’d like, but it’s not got a bad nose. Some fruity hop, and a little orange fruit for good measure. The taste is quite dry but there’s some sweet cirtic fruit in there too. Not so much hoppy but still citrus notes. A decent beer, and a joy to rate live at the fest thanks to Haddonsman and his wonderful technology.
