Cheshire Cat Bock is Back

Clear, deep amber. Big and richly sweet; sort of candy-like and sugary. Some fruity notes surface here and there, along with some alcoholic notes.

Draught. Dark amber. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted light bread, caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a note of peach. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic. Finish is moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. I wouldn’t call this a bock by any stretch, it’s more of an American interpretation of a maerzen/Oktoberfest, but it’s not bad either way.
