The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with a very light hop presence and a slightly sour end. The mouthfeel is very soft. Nothing wrong, just boring. Palate trends towards toasty malts, but there are hops - earthy and citric at once. Dry finish. Not really to style, but quite enjoyable, appetizing. Rastacouere (5561), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Mostly bready nose presenting the slightest fruitiness and mellow airy hops. Light on the palate, carbonation is very soft and the flavors are all presenting this watery aspect that feels a bit juicy, french toast and pear like. A bit too light frankly, citric and dull. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 14, 2005 Mild grainy malt aroma with fair citrus-grapefruit, floral and earthy hops in the nose. Slightly hazy copper-orange body is topped by a decent-sized, creamy white head that coats the sides of the glass. Grapefruit hop flavour hovers over some biscuity malt with a grainy undertone. Creamy texture to the medium body with fair carbonation. Sampled at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup. presario (3001), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

A bit of vanilla and light hoppiness. A nice quiet drink. beerbuzzmontreal (2921), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

In the aroma the caramel malts dominate the gentle hops. Flavor of crème brulée, malt and hops with a mild bitter finish. The body is typical of good cream ales, thick and creamy, the carbonation is discreet. All in all it’s an interesting cream ale.
