Commercial Description:
CBC's premium light beer is brewed in the tradition of German koelsch style beers. We use only the finest domestic and imported light malted barelys and hops selected to offer a subtle balance between smooth malt flavor and floral spiciness. Cool fermentation and extended cold storage create a distinctively smooth and satisfying beer.

Faint aroma, bad lagerish appearance. Hops at the after aftertate, but mostly funky like an amber or kolsch. Not real good, not my style.

Sampler at the Four Queens Casino Brewpub - Poured a very clear pale yellow in color with e thin whitish head that disappeared quickly. Sweet malt aroma with some flowery hops. Flavor was not strong, but pleasant. A decent light beer.

Pours clear golden in color. Slightly sweet and grainy aroma. Flavor is fairly grainy with a creamy sort of mouthfeel. Some malt is present.

Clear with a light straw hue. Light texture, but it was creamy and smooth. Sweet base, with notes of milk, cereal and light grains. Very light bitterness. Gentle herbs and flowers. No major offenses. Drinkable, albeit light and unexciting.

Very light color. Hardly any color at all. Good head and lacing. Aroma of sweetish malt almost corn-like.. Thin body with a slight malt taste. Dry finish.

This is a kolsch? Huh, who would of thunk it? Anyway, overall a good beer. Nothing extravagant but it the light use of hops and malt seemed to play well on the palate.
