| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 15, 2004 Deep brown, light brown lacing, think but still syrupy, definit coffee nose, like every other stout you try at these breweries... stale chocolate, some black licorice. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 16, 2006 This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a dark ruby red brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The thin flavor contained notes of semi-sweet dark malt and mild malt. Braudog (3779), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jan 27, 2003 I'm not a fan of stout, but this stuff is good. Along with Guiness only in Ireland, this is the only stout I'd drink. The classical stout appearance with a thick chocolately head. Milky and silky and outstandingly smooth. Smoky malt character. Stellar. ratman197 (3266), Arvada, Colorado, USA
