cloudy yellow, fine white head, nice clove and banana aroma, light malt flavor with a touch of banana, a very light hint of blueberry and no sign of vanilla, good combination of flavors
-------- /> Date: 06/30/2005

light sweet blueberry aroma blended with a nice creamy vanilla character, smooth body that takes on a creamy essence probably influanced by the creamy aspect of the aroma and flavor, up front vanilla cream flavor with a bit of sweet blueberry under the surface, no banana or clove or any real hefe character, a nice drinking summer beer that might be a bit too sweet

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy blond color with orange shades. Aroma of vanilla and light raspberry. A decent Wheat in the background, with light sweet fruit.

on tap-pours a thin retaining white head and cloudy yellow/gold color. Aroma is key lime, pine, some wheat. Taste is tart lime, vanilla/blueberry, some wheat, perfumy. Interesting and enjoyed, but not something I’d get again.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a hazy dark yellow brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma contained mild blueberry and vanilla notes. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The weak flavor contained notes of blueberry and vanilla. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

Unlike my friend Tony, I didn't care for this one. The vanilla tones are too overpowering, giving this a medicinal character. The opaque orange beer tasted kinda like a sweet breakfast cereal. Not the best here.

On tap @ Chicago poured a cloudy gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of vanilla and some bluebeery. Palate was light bodied and very dry. Flavors of wheat, light vanilla and blueberry with a dry lingering tart finish. If this tasted as good as it smells I think they would be on to something.

Sampler mug. Cloudy dark yellow. Blueberry aroma. Tastes like a solid wheat beer with a nice blueberry undercurrent rather than blueberry flavour overpowering a weak American Wheat.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a hazy yellow color with a thin white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing. Mild honey and fruit in the nose. Light-bodied with a flavor similar to blueberry cough syrup. Some sweetness as well, but all around not very tasty. The finish is tart fruit and leaves some berry aftertaste. Overall I would not try this again.
