Commercial Description:
Season's greetings at Chicago Brewing Company! This years winter warmer is our own Frostbite spiced ale. This complex brew is crafted with fresh, hand roasted figs, pumpkin, ginger root, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The malt profile is comprised of a meaty, two-row Belgian pale malt as the base, with a small percentage of UK amber roasted barley. German variety hop additions are kept to a couple of small additions. Frostbite has a well rounded subtle spice taste, toasty malt flavor, with pleasant alcohol warmth. ABV is 7.5%. Happy holidays from the staff of Chicago Brewing Company!

served in an ice cold mug with a cinimon stick, dark amber, thin tan head, slightly sweet spicy aroma, big cinamon and peppary nutmeg flavor on a rich malt base with some good carmel sweetness, lots of good flavor, would age very nicely

A big dark brown beer with a spicy mulled flavor, predominately nutmeg. The body is surprisingly light, but the flavors are great for a cold winter night (which of course you don’t get in Vegas).
