nice clear copper color with a whispy white head, sweet grapefruit aroma, lots of good hop flavor with just enough sweetness to keep it honest, grapefruit shows up late followed by a lingering bitter finish

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 15, 2004 Called Pale Rider at the brewery. Clear medium gold colored. Dry, bitter with a cloudy wheat or burlap flavor. Dry wood and charred fruit but not in a good way, think old cardboard and carrots. Has a fresh hop nose, somewhat resembling thje dry-hopped note of Alpha King, but still with the stale presence and so something I would not drink again. Braudog (3771), Dayton, Ohio, USA
