This draft brew from the brewery poured a foamy head of finely sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a transparent softly carbonated golden brown colored body. It had a very mild malty aroma with a slight red malt note. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish. The flavor contained notes of malts hops and a slight red and caramel note.

On tap at the brewpub in Vegas. Not a whole lot going on with this one. Light copper appearance, decent white head. Fresh lake water aroma. Some brief nuttiness makes an appearance, a trace of caramel and fruity citrusiness. Feels like something is missing. Thinnish, spritzy mouthfeel. Overall, needs some work.

On tap @ Chicago poured a clear amber with a lasting off white head. Aromas of sweet malt, some toastiness and a bit of nuttiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of sweet malt and a hint of nuts with a sweet finish.

Very clean aroma. A different amber in that it tastes like it has some caramel at the end. Also a little sweeter than most. Pretty decent. Enjoyed all 8 of the CBC beers in the sampler w/ratebeerian thedm from Indiana.

Beautiful amber color with red shades. Light aroma. Malty taste, round, sweet caramel. Simple but drinkable.

Sampler at the Four Queens Casino Brewpub - Poured a nice ruby-brown in color with a light tan head. Aroma was a mix of bisquit malt and spicy hops. Flavor was slightly sweet, but fairly well balanced with the hops. Easy drinking.
