Chicago Springfest Lager

The seasonal brew we prepared for Spring is a golden lager. To give this beer a unique twist, coriander spice and sweet orange peel were added to the kettle during the boil to provide a distinct flavor and refreshing taste. This beer was aged in it's fermenter for six weeks to add increased smoothness. The Spring Fest Lager is medium bodied with a highly carbonated crisp dry finish. Pilsner, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts give the beer a wonderful malt profile. The alcohol content measures in at around 5.2% ABV. Serve the Springfest with an orange slice on the rim and encourage squeezing it into the beer. The fresh orange enhances the delicate citrus flavor that already exists in the glass.
