Chicago Weizenheimer Wheat

Enjoyed at the 4 Queens brewpub. Cloudy and even dirty brown in appearance. Clove aroma with blueberry. Flavor is the same with a touch of clove. It was served a bit too cold. A decent hefe but nothing more.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with a thin white head. Good retention. Aroma is yeast and banana. Unfortunately, those are much weaker in the flavor and the taste is dominated by wheat and an astringent band-aid flavor. Not a good hef.

4% hazy golden color with a frothy white head. musty aroma with notes of banana, yeast, faint spice and flowers. the flavor is the same... add in some orange, medicine/rubberbands and a yeasty aftertaste. creamy textured with a medium body. 5/3/5/3/12/2.8

Sampler @ 4 Queens, Vegas. Pours golden hazy, thin white head. Aroma is yeasty, with some fruity esters. Taste, ester, fruits, banana, yeasty witha good wheat mouthfeel.

Cloudy golden color and a decent head. Aroma of banana, clove, and wheat. Nice flavor, good hefe.

Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells wheaty with some corinder hints. Tastes sweet and phenolic with some clove on the finish.

on tap-pours a thin white head and hazy yellow/gold color. Aroma is perfumy, banana, light malt. Taste is perfumy, banana, coriander, light malt. Light body.
