Commercial Description:
Medium copper color. A smooth, medium to full bodied pale ale, moderately strong in flavor, floral and hop aroma with some alcohol warming. Brewhouse India Pale Ale is brewed with 2-Row malt, English Pale Ale and Caramel Malt and hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Perle Hops. Cascade hops were used for dry hopping which provide the notable hop aroma upon finish.

Clear and golden with a frothy-white head. Sweet and flowery nose was tremendously inviting. Texture was amazing -- rich, weighty, smooth, and perfectly carbonated (for a "big" IPA). Big, wafty flavors and aromas of flowers, perfume, grass, earth and pine. I could even pick out the Perle hops somehow (reminded me of a homebrew I made once). Wonderfully balanced beer. Shockingly tasty! I hope they keep brewing at this level.

For a small micro brew, this is a damn good IPA. The hops jump out of the aroma. Nice head that sticks to the side of the glass. It has a little more of a creamy taste than all other IPA's. I was very impressed with this. Definitely worth a trip after visiting Sierra Nevada.
