Commercial Description:
Deep red to black in color. This is a medium to full bodied ale with a notable roasted coffee and chocolate malt flavor. The hop aroma and flavor are low which helps balance the sweetness of the malt. This ale is brewed with 2-Row Malt, Caramel Malt, Chocolate Malt and Black Barley. Brewhouse Porter is hopped with Centennial and Northern Brewer Hops.

Deep burgundy-red. Smooth and chewy mouthfeel, but it wasn’t too heavy, which was nice. Notes of sweet and syrupy caramel, dark chocolate and mild, creamed coffee. It also had a hint of toffee. Pretty good, but just a little too sweet for me.

A dark color with little head. You can taste the roasted coffee and chocolate from the malt. Nothing great about this but nothing bad either. Just an average porter.
