Commercial Description:
Chimay Blanche (White), with its typical golden colour, its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterised by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer's flavour, as sensed in the mouth, comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements the touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurised.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, wheat starch, sugar, hop extract and yeast. See Protz and John White

330ml Bottle - Gravity Beer Market - Olympia, WA
Aroma – Deep Belgian aroma with a light fruitiness in the end.
Appearance – Golden yellow color, Light fluffy head and hazy.
Flavor – Nice Belgian ale flavor. Deep flavors with lots of fruitiness.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, Good texture with a Great finish.
Overall – One of the better Belgians that I ever have had. I did not get sucked into this is Chimay I must love this beer scenario. I did this as a test with other beers around it was a fine beer.

Orange-honey colored cloudy pour. Large lumpy white head. Fairly high carbonation. Aromas are orange, yeast, mild spices, white wine. Taste follows suit. Very sweet, almost like a yeasty, spicy, citrus syrup, but balanced out fairly well with mild hops. Very good beer. Pairs well with spicy foods. Refreshing. I go back and forth between this and the Blue for my favorite Chimay.

Bottled. Verbose white fluffy head. Golden colour with a few specs of yeast. Sweet aroma. Bitter taste. Baggs of alcohol coming of it. Which for me doesn't rate highly. I like my strong beers to be sly about it.

Peppery and spicy indeed, this is a beer out of the ordinary. The White is surely not a beer I regret sampling, but I’d prefer Chimay Blue by a mile.

Hazy gold...thick head that didn’t last as long as I’d like...smells hoppy and yeasty...tastes spicy and hoppy with a crisp dry finish...probably my least favorite "big" tripel...

I really like this kind of beer. It has a lot to offer. Complete head that last, golden-colored. Lot of sweetness, strength, and herbs.
