Commercial Description:
Chimay Blanche (White), with its typical golden colour, its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterised by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer's flavour, as sensed in the mouth, comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements the touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurised.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, wheat starch, sugar, hop extract and yeast. See Protz and John White

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a cloudy deep orange/gold with off-white head. Aroma is great, fruit, citrus, floral, barn. Flavor is just as good, malt, barnyard, citrus, nice little hoppy bitter. Mouthfeel is pretty solid with crisp carbonation. Overall, pretty good stuff!

Pours a hazy blond apple cider color. Small fizzy white head. Nose of bananas, clove, yeast, and just a whispering of alcohol. A great bitterness that is very light. Some yeasty bread flavors with a nice fruity layer. Leaves a pretty dry finish. I know everyone loves the blue, but the white is definitely my favorite.

Color is hazy, golden orange. Head is quite thick and lacing is nice and long lasting. Fruity and yeasty aroma is also dry. Taste is spicy, fruity, sour, yeasty with a hint of alcohol. Hops brings nice bitterness. Palate is medium and much carbonated. Foams quite much in mouth.

raisins, coriander, and wheat in the smell, it is a hazy amber-orange with a thick lasting head. its very dry, taste is a typical triple, coriander, drying taste, spices, a little honey sweetness at the end, very light like honey syrup. the mouthfeel is incredibly smooth, thick and full. this is a great great every now and then ultra quality beer.

Pours a orange color, slightly hazy, topped with a thick off-white foamy head. Slightly creamy head. Aroma is fruity banana with some yeast and vanilla. The flavor is citrusy with a mix of fruits, banana, grapefruit, and orange. Somewhat of a tart, winey, sour presence. Overall this is quite good with a complex mix of flavors while being even quite refreshing.

It poured hazy orange liquid with a huge icecream looking foam that rose like a mountain above the rim of the glass. As it receded it left little craters and lots of lacing along the side of the glass. This is a great look for a beer, very appealing. It had a fairly strong smell of yeast, oranges, other citrus fruits, malt and a hint of hops. There where some more smells which I couldn’t quite place. The mouthfeel was smooth, despite a medium amount of carbonation. It had a medium body and medium bitterness. It tasted similar to what it smelled, yeast, oranges, citrus and a hint of hops. Not very sweet, a bit dry and felt complex. There where more tastes that I couldn’t put my finger on. A very nice beer.
