Commercial Description:
Chimay Blanche (White), with its typical golden colour, its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterised by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer's flavour, as sensed in the mouth, comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements the touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurised.
Ingredients: Water, malted barley, wheat starch, sugar, hop extract and yeast. See Protz and John White

An overall very nice beer. A strong creamy head, pure white with a light spicey fruity aroma which follows through on the palate. Balanced by a finishing bittersweet hop/malt component.

Cloudy medium gold, lots of foam. Nose is floral, spicy and active. Flavor is nicely subdued and classy, with just the right amounts of fruit, spice and bitter finish. An outstanding creation.

Starts with peppery aromas and a spicy palate. This foamy beer continues with caramel notes and ends with more spices. Has a nice warming finish. Good ole Chimay!

Awesome, especially having the red, white & blue side by side. This is the fruitiest and leaves an awesome sweet, dark fruity, then bitter aftertaste. Thanks to Jaymobrown for bringing the Chimays over!

750 bottle. Beautiful hazy golden color with a thick head that floats on top. As it warmed the fruit and floral notes came out, especially banana. Some spice, didn’t notice much alcohol.

Beautiful cloudy amber color with a generous thick cream colored foam. Aroma is nice and fruity, with hints of cloves, orange and yeast. Taste is slightly sweet, with hints of raisins and spices make it very nice. slightly bitter in the finish, and a little thick, but fills the belly with a nice warmth. Very good.

The first smell, i kinda stuick my nose in a little too far, and sniffed a little to hard, and i thought my nose was going to fall off, just the way i like it. Yeasty, champagne like, ciderish. Taste is spicey, hops are well presents, nicelty carbonated. I quite liked this beer, i'll have it again, and again, and again.
