Pours deep hazy copper with gold edges and thin dark tan head. The aroma is sweet, dark fruity and becoming sweeter with caramel and brown sugar. The taste has brown sugar and some dark fruitiness to start. By midway I get notes of caramel and a sense of alcohol into the finish with fading dark fruitiness. kiefdog (1637), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours a light brownish color with short lived offwhite head. Smell is sweet, malty raisins and caramel. Taste is the same with a light sweetness, and thinnish body with a caramelized raisin flavor. A bit bubbly and champagne like, but not overly carbonated, yet. Not the most complex, or full flavored, but still very drinkable. WeeHeavySD (3041), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 2, 2009 Hazy brown-amber with not much head. Thin fruity apple nose, mostly apples and brown sugar with a little malt. Thin mouthfeel is prickly. Very sweet with lots of apple juice flavors. Not very good, but not very bad, just an exercise in mediocrity.
