Aroma has some vinous character. Hazy, orange coloured with no head. Taste is hoppy, fruity (citric), malty with some tartness. Vinous/sherry. Doesn’t taste really complex.

750ml bottle share courtesy of hatchy. Bottle labeled best before the end of 2005. Poured a medium and cloudy golden color with a small sized white head. Lots of small floaters. Aromas of yeast, bananas (and all around fruitiness), and citrus. Tastes of citrus, spices, lighter fruitiness, and some yeast.

07.24.06 Bottle dated 2005, must be a best by date, thanks for sharing EDA! Darkish golden beer. Aromas are flowery and herbal with a bit of funk and something lactos-ish sweet. Lovely background bitterness throughout the quaff with peppery and herbal hops, fruity yeasts, and some sturdy biscuit/cookie maltiness. Pretty solid and saison-like brew that I didn’t even realize ever existed and now wish they’d brew again.

Great score. Eyedrinkale broke this out late in the NYRBG, thanks Mike. Poured murky yellow. Aroma and taste are is like a lactose-y hop. Mouthfeel is effervescent. I know the rating is short but I really enjoyed this stuff.

Dutch Ratebeer Gathering. Bottled 0.7 liter, BB 2001 (bottled in 1999?). Hazy orange coloured, small head. Fruity notes, apple and orange. Very refreshing, easy to drink beer, although complexity was probably not increased by ageing (or is this bottle way past its peak?). Quite simple, but enjoyable nonetheless.
