Jun 6, 2009 On tap at Cafe Bos in Amsterdam. Light yellow body with nice tall head. Citrus nose. Prickly mouthfeel. Taste of citrus. Spice coming in at the end. Quite subdued for an IPA. Warms at the end. Enjoyed two of these and felt a bit overwhelmed on a nice, warm day.

Jun 4, 2009 Pours a pale gold with a big white bubbly head. Aroma is sweet, hoppy, light spice and very pleasant. Taste is really unique. Some lemony citrus, dry hoppiness, and just a little bit of spice. Just an easy drinking yet complex beer.

Jun 4, 2009 Enfin la SAQ sort de sa torpeur en ce qui concerne les bieres. 9,50$ pour 750 ml mais on s’en clisse (un peu) du prix s’il y a du choix! Les deux triples les mieux cotées de ce site sont en SAQ. MERCI ET BRAVO! English comments: Wow! This is a truly original, audacious and delicious beer. Citrusy bitterness and powertaste of malt. Some subtilities in the fruity dryness. And, hourra!, no spicyness and barely a trace of alchool, when cold at least. Much too easy to drink at 9%; this is dangerous! Best triple I had, even if I see this beer more like a DIPA, mainly because of the hop-madness in there. I even think it is a little under-rated, at the actual 3.94/5.0... The future is decided: I’ll buy so much of these!...

Jun 1, 2009 Large rocky head, excellent retention and lumpy lacing. Nose of grass, spices and yeast. Body is med/light with a soft carbonation. Light fruity flavors, spices, bready malts, yeast and a hint of citrus. Alc. is noticeable as it warms. Almost dry finish with a healthy bite.

Shady yellow color, big fluffy white head. Spicy and alcohol scent. Spicy, malty, bitter, aclohol, citrus taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Tried it once more on September 4, 2009. Thanks to deft! Didn’t bother rating since I knew I had it twice on ratebeer already, but had the feeling last night it was very nice and very drinkable. Although a bit too strong to drink the whole big bottle by yourself, at least if you’re doing anything else that same day... But, very nice!

Jun 1, 2009 TAP: oh hell yeah, here’s a beer! Yellow cloudy pour, white foamy head. Mild nose, not much for hop bitterness on taste until very late. Malty, creamy, Belgian smell and taste, awesome!

May 30, 2009 Bonne odeur de houblon. Ressemble a une blanche lorsque verser. Gout pas tres prononcé sauf pour un peu d’ alcool. Le mariage des 3 houblons et de la triple belge est parfaitement reussi. La grande classe!
