750ML, tulip. Cloudy golden body topped by a white, out-of-control huge head that leaves ridiculous lace over the entire glass--big chunks, real big chunks, fully lasting. Aroma of orange rind, clove, fruity esters, and a nice bouquet of hops. Mouth is medium with nice, creamy/foamy carbonation and a pleasantly dry beer. Flavor is white grapes, clove, general ester-fruitiness, lemon zest, honey, and a noticeable hoppy finish in the direction of floral-honey with a backdrop of pine. Some unsightly alcohol notes here and there, but mostly invisible. Saaz hops do a nice job of steadying the others. Well-balanced, beautiful, and very tasty. Could not pour more than 1/2 glass due to excessive carbonation.

Poured from a 750ml bottle into a trappist-style glass. I was pretty disappointed by this beer. Though I love IPAs and belgian tripels, I didn’t think this was a good example of either. Taste was a a little sour for my liking, and a good bit lighter than I expected, with this being a tripel. Heavy carbonation. Definitely a taste of alcohol, but a generally smooth finish.

At vonk slijterij zaandam, bottle 750ml golden, xtrm full fluffy head, lots of nice citrus fruits and flowers, perfect grassy hopbitter, most best hops, very good.

750mL bottle poured into tulip. Pours a hazy, bright yellow with a big fluffy white head that leaves some clumpy white retention and lots of lacing. The aroma starts with some lemon zest and some grassy hops but gave way to the massive spicy yeast backbone. The taste is more of the same with a slight sweetness from light fruits and sugar. The spicy yeast is more prevalent and the finish has some grassy, spicy hops. The mouthfeel is fairly lively with good carbonation and slightly spicy in the finish. An excellent Belgian IPA with a dominant yeast spiciness and enough sweetness to make things interesting.

The pour is very light, almost like witbier. Little white head with some attractive lacing. The aroma is delicious with definite strong notes of spice and some wild yeast. Also some notes of sweet citrusy smells coming through as well. The spices really come through nicely in this beer with coriander being the most pronounced. Again, some sweet citrus fruits. Overall, it’s very light and enjoyable.

750 mL bottle. Nice yellow-gold with a medium, sticky, white head. Lotsa stuff in it. Aroma is sweet and spicy with some floral hops and yeast. Very pleasant. The flavour is as advertised: a strongly built tripel with added hops. Medium to full body. An excellent beer.

With a funky, slightly sour and sweet zesty flavor, this special IPA brew is delicious. The aroma is full of sweetness but not much hops for an IPA. The color is perfectly golden champagne. I’m so glad they import this delicious, rare Belgian IPA.

Pours pale yellow with a thick white head. Great retention. Aroma is very strong and yeasty, notes of alcohol, and very hoppy. Kind of a subtle floral aroma. At first it tastes like an abbey triple, lots of yeast and alcohol, and then it finishes with a very dry bitter hop flavour. Interesting, but I don’t think I would want to drink it all the time.
