norsedoc (162), USA Dec 5, 2007 Pours a hazy golden with a creamy head. A bit of sediment floating around. Smells of citrus and straw. Tastes of orange with a little menthol. Mildly bitter finish. Very interesting beer. Better than most American dubble/imperial IPAs. Smahler515 (8), Chicago, Illinois, USA does not count Dec 5, 2007 Pours very nice into my chalice appearing with a beautiful layer of head. Aromas of citrus. Taste is incredible with a spicy finish. I definitely recommend this beer if you like a golden Belgium IPA. robforbes (1083), Bremerton, Washington, USA Dec 3, 2007 Updated: Jun 6, 2009old rating:

pours a semi-clear yellow with a orange tint, extremely large white foamy head, and very good lacing.
smell is citrus, some fruit, grape, sour malt, a little wheat, and a bit of spice.
taste is very smooth, grain, corn, sour malt, hops in the back, a little citrus, banana, pear, aftertaste is bitter and a little dry. dolemite77 (184), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Nov 29, 2007 Not even sure how they produce something this varied in style... Rocky head, laces like a beast... the color is a thin yellow, but the taste kicks pretty hard. The note below that it tates like a belgian on the front, but definate IPA on the finish. Recommeded to me at Bruisin’ Ales in Asheville, good call. Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Nov 29, 2007 Updated: Jul 9, 2009Wow! What a beer. 750 ml bottle @ BevMo Carmel Mtn. Aroma of wet grass, citrus, and dandelions......seriously. As I let the beer sit, the flavors intensified dramatically. This is why Brasserie is among my top 10 breweries of all time. ElGaucho56 (386), USA Nov 27, 2007 Draft @BSP. pours a slightly hazy orange-gold with very fluffy and full clear head; aroma of fresh resiny hops, yeasty fruitiness. Pretty smooth on the palate, citrusy, lemon zest, grassy, delightfully bitter, malts just smoothing out the palate on the finish. Class A tripel IPA. glennmastrange (809), hobe sound, Florida, USA Nov 25, 2007 Bottle. Light straw for the malt, moderate lemon for the hops, light mustiness for the yeast, and apple and alcohol in the background. Head is rocky, white, has excellent lacing, and is fully lasting. Color is a hazy yellow. Flavor starts moderately acidic and the long finish is moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery bordering on oily, and has a fizzy carbonation. It finishes lightly alcoholic and astringent. I don’t know about IPA but this is a very good Belgian. It walks the line between being rich and bold, and being very refreshing.
