Bottle at Kulminator, Antwerp. Pours hazy yellow with abig white head. Very hoppy aroma for a belgian beer. Grass, fresh fruit and spices in nose as well. Flavour is the same with a good alcoholic bite to finish of a great beer.

Unlike the previous raters, I was not a fan of this beer. I am a huge fan of IIPA and they are probably in the running for the top style of mine, but I just cannot get this one. It is almost too bitter for me to enjoy, and actually I did not enjoy it. I am all for beer companies trying new beer styles, but sometimes it is just best to stick with what you know you can make very well. This is a pretty large failure for me, something I would never buy again and something I certainly would not recommend to anyone to drink. Pours out with a huge head - which was an annoyance as well since I poured about half of it on the counter - with a tan yellow color. Taste is hoppy and bitter, too bitter, the hop is not really tasted, it just tastes more like chewing on an asprin. It leaves the palate dry and not refreshed, hence the departure from the norm of "IIPA" I also realize this is not a technical IIPA but it is certainly not a belgian strong. The style of this should be something more like: when brewing a tripel goes wrong.

bought in to my store, sold half a case in one day! ... pours with an obscenely huge white rocky pederasts head and lacing ... lots of sweet honey and fresh pie with caramel (then blended on puree) .... is very smooth and delicious ... another beuty from the chouffers!! ...broccoli heads??

Bottle. Pours hazy gold with an outrageous white head. I mean, head that climbs an inch and a half over the lip of my glass, and about 45 minutes later as i’m taking the last sip, there’s still a dollop of foam sitting at the bottom of my glass. The aroma is floral and spicy with a hint of sweetness. Nice floral, earthy flavor with some spices, yeast and sweet fruitiness. Very nice.

Explodes with a five+ fingered white, pillowy head that leaves gobs of lace. A clear pale amber color. Hoppy nose. Starts just on the hoppy side with some sourness, slight hop but smooth finish. Good carbonation and medium bodied. $7.99 for a 750ml bottle from John’s Grocery Iowa City, IA.

Large rocky head, excellent retention and lumpy lacing. Nose of grass, spices and yeast. Body is med/light with a soft carbonation. Light fruity flavors, spices, bready malts, yeast and a hint of citrus. Alc. is noticeable as it warms. Almost dry finish with a healthy bite.

golden body with a nice frumpy white head.nice mix of pine/citrus hops,and belgian yeast and spice.flavor mixes up the same with a bit of pumpkin pie and seltzer water thrown in.mouthfeel was medium and the palte was long lasting.

Big green Bottle Pours out a cloudy ligth yellow topped with a huge cream white head. A great aroma of light hops and sweet apple. Tast was a little belg and ipa. Pretty cool to try.
