Commercial Description:
A unique marriage between the English tradition of IPAs, the new American revolution of Imperial IPAs and the classic Belgian way of brewing. Houblon Chouffe, although very much hopped as it is, showcases the unique balance between a very strong IPA and a very special Belgian Tripel exclusively created for this ale (Big malty body, distinct dryness, expressive estery fruitiness). - IBU: 59, Original Gravity: 1092

I tried this beer on a trip to New Jersey. The beer was fantastic! I am a big hop lover, including such beers as Dogfish head (90 min and 120 min). I am usually happy with any IPA, but this one blew me away. Sometimes hops can overwelm a beer, but this one hits the perfect taste. The head is absolutely amazing, I couldn’t believe the density of it. You can physically eat it. Great job of a beer. Only problem is that i can not find it in Delaware. At least not south of the canal. If anyone finds it let me know.

Bottle. Split this beauty with Vin and Sean. Pours the most intense gold with an immense white head. Aroma is complex, sweet and filled with different hints of spice and sugar. Body is medium with a strong finish. This is, hands down, one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommend.

Pours a huge fluffy head. The color is pale yellow and great color. Bubbly like champagne with bubbles all through the glass. An incredible taste and feel.

A great aroma. A quite meringue-y head. Flavor is spicy and tasty. This is really good stuff. Never been disappointed with this brewery.

Pours hazy bright golden yellow with a billowing snow white head. Lots of Belgian lace. Wonderfully spiced aroma with plenty citrus hop aroma. Sweet candy sugar as well. The tripel character comes through perfect, and the Amarican hop bitterness is very evident. The palate is great. Full, but refreshingly carbonated. Get ya some.

Poured softly from a 750ml bottle but still created a giant head that looked like pillowy eggwhites leaving behind a glossy, bubbly, blonde orange body slightly cloudy. The aroma is crisp hops and citrus that pack a punch. The nose is pine, lemon rind, with a soft wheat presence. The taste is crisp, fresh, fruity like a sorbet, and cleanses your palate with the carbonation in the same way. There is a pleasing alcohal fruit presence and the brew finishes sharp and bitter. This is a fantastic brew, it has depth, a myriad of flavors, the only flaw is that it is slightly over carbonated IMO, but none the less fantastic.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a slowly collapsing yet quite stable head. Off-white. Aroma is fantastic, smooth and mellow yeasty, mild spiced and caramel malt in a classic and almost supurb mix. In addition the aroma hops of amarillo, tomahawk and saaz join in giving a great twist to this. Flavour is dense spiced mixed with a nice mellow mix of yeast and caramel malt. Again the oily hops work quite well with this mix providing even more strength to the classic triple flavour. This is so smooth and so flavourful a triple - fantastic. Only downside - a vague bit too strong flavoured perhaps.
