A lovely looking hazy straw beer with a large, lumpy, white head leaving tons of lace. Aroma is light fruit, apples, pears, citrus, flowers, a bit sour. Flavor is very crisp, also a bit sour, with some belgian yeastiness and more light fruit, a hint of white wine. dry bitterness in the finish. Quite bubbly on the tongue. Emphasizes more of the "tripel" than the "IPA" aspect, but a very nice hybrid beer either way.

Dec 14, 2009 Bottle. Attractive clear golden with a thick, billowy white head. Kind of a “dusty” herbal hop aroma, pretty subdued. Flavor is mostly pale malt with ample hop bitterness, perhaps a tinge of Belgian fruity yeast character but not much. Some residual sweetness in there. The hop character is mostly herbal/earthy. I don’t pick up any of the Amarillo or Tomahawk though. medium bodied with a spritzy, lively carbonation. Nice texture. Would like to give this one another try sometime.

Dec 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear golden beer with a big white head. The aroma is sweet, yeast, spices and notes of perfume. The flavor is sweet, malt, yeast and hops with citrus and spices. The palate is bitter. Overall a really good beer.

Dec 13, 2009 Hazy golden with a dense head. Herbal and citric hops in the aroma combined with yeast. Fresh flavours to begin with - the tripel shines through here: sweet, yeast-like - then the hops kicks in giving the beer a complex IPA-ending. It’s extremely refreshing , and the alcohol is so well hidden it’s scary.

Dec 7, 2009 Bottle at BXL cafe: Pours golden with a huge foamy head. To me it tasted more of a Belgian Triple than IPA but whatever it was very tasty. tons of flavor all the place.

Dec 7, 2009 An unique twist on Belgians and IPAs! Has the head and body of a Belgian, but with the hop bite of an IPA. Cloudy golden color, with persistent head.

Dec 4, 2009 Bottle from Pinball, thanks matey. Unclear golden colour with a nice white medium head leaving a good lacing. Aroma is quite hoppy´, sweet with yeast and and alcohol. Good mouthfeel. Hoppy dry sweet yeasty and malty flavour. Well lasting dry pleasant hoppy sweet finish.

Dec 3, 2009 750ml bottle. Exploded with foam upon opening. Pours golden with big head and lots of lacing. Taste is floral, hops, but too dry and sour. Bottle may have been ruined - will probably try again.
