Sep 12, 2005 Belle couleur jaune luminescente allant vers le dorée, apparence brouillée aux évidences d’absence de filtration. Énorme mousse blanche, crémeuse et persistante laissant éventuellement une fine couche sur le dessus du précieux liquide. Malt légèrement grillé à la référence de pain et grains matures offrant le parfait support à cette symphonie de houblons aromatiques. Un champs de verdure relie le présent à l’infini… herbes exquises, fleurs, citrons, meringue et fruits tels ananas et mangue…Incroyablement complexe. Une défiante épaisseur de malt relie soigneusement chacune des composantes aromatiques. La finale amère vient nous surprendre à chacune des gorgées….puis, tout le cycle recommence…
On peut s’attarder à sa complexité ou encore l’oublié pour tout simplement jouir du cadeau spirituel qu’elle nous offre. Corps d’épaisseur moyenne à pleine, carbonatation fine, active et doucement piquante. Bouteille, 33cl. Qui l’aurait cru…c’est vraiment vraiment exquis. Merci S !

Sep 8, 2005 One of the best pilsner lagers I’ve ever had. Crisp hop flavor, slightly opaque golden colour, large head on pouring. Delicate but rich flavour. Excellent.

Aug 29, 2005 Poured a cloudy orange brown color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of dough, toasted malt, grass, and citrus hops. Taste of dough, some caramel malt, citrus fruits, but very dry and finishing with grapefruit bitterness.

Aug 28, 2005 High hop aroma with plenty of sweet malt as well. The appearance is a cloudy blond with plenty of foamy head. The flavor is much like the aroma, hoppy and malty. Palate is light making this a nice summer beer. Good.

Aug 14, 2005 Bottle. I didn’t much care for the Christoffel Robertus so imagine my surprise when I had the Blond and really liked it. Pours a cloudy dark yellow with a large rocky diminishing white head. Looking good! Sweet aroma of caramel malt, citrus and light hops is quite impressive. The flavour of floral hops, grainy malt and yeast is good but a bit of a letdown after that great aroma -- it needs a bit more sweetness and then it would be great. Still, this is a very good beer that I will be sure to get again.

Aug 14, 2005 A typical blond beer with a golden apperence and a small shortlasting head. Taste of hops, but still bitter.
