Mar 10, 2007 330ml bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. Crystal clear russet colour until the yeast was poured in and made it cloudy russet. Lasting tight beige head. Very toasty, fruity malty aroma. Very toasty in mouth, richness and depth. Depth has a vinous nature to it and then this toasted breadiness takes over. A bit like strawberry jam on golden brown white toast but no butter. Hugely drinkable even in the bath, reading a book on Kent pub signs. Oh dear, I fear I may have lost some of my readership with that image.

Feb 26, 2007 (Bottle, Monks Café, Stockholm, 24 Feb 2007) Dark brown, amberish colour with frothy off-white head. Malty, bready nose with distinct notes of ryvita. Malty taste with notes of dark bread, ryvita and a hint of brown sugar. Light notes of hops in the finish, but mainly robustly malty. Well-made and fresh.

Feb 25, 2007 Updated: Sep 2, 2007Draft. Clear red with an orange tone; average off white head. Nose of cherry cordial and cedar shavings. Taste of orange, boiled sweets, cherry and caramel. Spicy to sweet to spicy in that span of 5 seconds. Long oak finish. Syrupy texture. Really very good. Ive had it from the bottle and liked it very much as well.

Feb 20, 2007 330 ml bottle. Golden, clear body with a white head. Discreet aroma. Flavor is sweet and malty, some hops, and some caramel. Nothing really wrong here, but not exactly my type of beer. A bit boring.

Feb 18, 2007 Bottle. Unclear amber colour with a nice white head. Aroma and flavour of fruit, caramel and roasted malt.

Feb 14, 2007 Bottle. Hazy deep golden/amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of toasted malt, caramel and nice fruitiness. Flavor of sweet caramel, toasty malt, good hoppiness. Bit dry sweetish finish. A very tasty brew. Thank you Tori.
