mabjork (580), Vasa, Finland Dec 28, 2006 Bottled. (Thanx oh6gdx). Hazy orange brown in colour. A dry and wet aroma at the same time... some hops and a sweetness as well. The flavour is malty There is a sweetness in the aftertaste as well... oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Dec 28, 2006 Bottled. Amber colour, beige head. Aroma is hard, paper, strawberry, malts and total dryness (no idea what dryness smells like, but this does it). Flavour is strawberry, malts and slight hops. Strawberry and hops in finish and aftertaste. HazelRah (276), Summerland, British Columbia, Canada Dec 20, 2006 Pours an orangey brown with many tiny bubbles diminishing into islands in my glass. Tinny, brackish, aroma but in the mouth is a satisfying malt and yeast combination with a good smack of hops balance. Really enjoyed the yeast and bitter finish. pivnizub (4949), Bochum, Porúří, Germany Dec 16, 2006 Flip-top bottle (33cl): Ruby-amber coloured, hazy, quickly vanishing off-white layer; sweetish caramelly, a bit toasted nose with a bigger touch of ripe fruit (strawberry fields forever..?); sweet flavour not witout a detectable bitterness, medium bodied; fruity-malty, slightly bitter finish. O.K., very good by dutch standards........ DanBerg (59), Alkmaar, Netherlands Dec 4, 2006 Got this one for my birthday in a nice 2 liter bottle which made it a special experience. When I opened the bottle, it was like there was coming a cloud out of it. I poured the beer into a glass and it had a nice ruby red colour. I drank 3 glasses of it and I liked it. Nice aroma, nice sweetness, nice taste. JoshuaB (422), Detroit, Michigan, USA Dec 3, 2006 Solid. Quenching. Malty and yeasty. SOlid. Not much else to say. Yum yum yum. Tmoney99 (4652), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Nov 28, 2006 Draft at Cock & Bull, Sarasota, FL. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malty aroma. Medium body. Medium sweet fruity flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. Stew41 (1040), Caulfield, Australia Nov 27, 2006 If this is a vienna it’s an absolute ball tearer for the style. Standard colour. Fruity nose with some darker malts lurking. Malts carry through to the palate nicely. Really does play above its weight for the style. (e2.60 @ Café Wildeman)
