Jan 6, 2006 Pours a clear, light brown body with ruby highlights. The head, intially tall and bubbly, soon transforms into a slender halo. The aroma is a mixture of caramel and butterscotch with a hint of raisins. Light-bodied and lively in the mouth, it presents a sweet malty flavor, caramel, toffee, and butterscotch. The fruit is gone, but a soft, mild bitterness takes its place. The finish is sweet with a touch of nutty bitterness. Dec 28, 2005 Slightly hazy burnt amber body with an off-white head. Fairly good head retention. Grainy aroma along with a faint whiff of caramel that becomes more noticeable later in the drink. Fairly smooth straight-forward taste that is not complex. Soft pepper, milky creamy texture, soft carbonation and some dried fruit. Expected a bit more bitterness and/or roasted flavours. As a Vienna I really like this, as a Dark Lager it lacks a bit.

Dec 25, 2005 Hazy copper with a thick, off-white head. Aromas of caramel, pralines, pear and apple. Tastes of caramel and pecans followed by white pepper and some hop bitteness. Thick mouthfeel with lots of sweet malt

Nov 16, 2005 Hmm, my second Vienna. Dark amber colured beer, small off-white head. Very malty, sweet caramel aroma. Sweet, malty taste, some walnut too, falls flat, but then, a lingering mild)hopbitterness comes. Not very complex, or strong as the Blond, but nonetheless a nice beer.

Nov 14, 2005 Pleasant, somewhat unsophisticated flavor. Nice body. Tastes like a malty lager, it’s got a good clean flavor without the unpleasant aftertaste of many lagers.

Oct 14, 2005 (bottle) Cloudy amber colour with a big & firm fluffy tanned head. Medium sweet toasted malts aroma. Sweetbitter flavour, medium body, almost crispy mouthfeel. Moderate sweet and nutty toastmalty taste, dry and slightly bitterhoppy lingering finish. A quaffable Vienna.

Oct 10, 2005 Bottle. Brown, pink and red in colour. Aromas are sweet, smooth chocolate with a contrasting but complementary fruity sourness. Flavours are earthy and fruity, especially berries with a malty, sweet base. Dry on the finish. Quite addictive.
