Jun 15, 2005 Slightly hazy, amber coloured, with a slim off-white head. Nice and strong aroma of spices, caramel, yeast and malt. Complex flavours going on; sweet malty taste initially , some sourness later with fruit, nuts and spices in between. Thin to medium moufeel, quite highly carbonated. Could easily pass for a more than decent belgian beer.

Jun 6, 2005 Cloudy, amber body with a small white head, aroma of sugar, raisin, flavor is sweet, like sweet raisins and other overripe fruit, sticky mouthfeel, hint of alcohol in the finish.

Jun 1, 2005 Pretty good. I liked it better than the blond. Good thing there is a wire holding the cap on this thing. Thing could take out an eye or small plane. Alcohol is *robertus* and for me, the aroma was the best, and most noticeable thing.

May 29, 2005 Updated: May 30, 2005Bottle at Ciro’s. For 6% it doesn’t hide the alcohol as well as it should. Pours nicely. Not much aroma. Acidic with unpleasant aftertaste. Found it mediocre at best.

May 29, 2005 (11.2oz bottle, notched 02/2005) Hazy copper body topped by a medium-sized beige froth fills out the rest of the pilsner glass lightly. Aroma is sweet, caramel, bready, plum/raisin -- seems like it belongs in a freshly produced pastry. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, raisin and light cherry, floral hoppiness. Light-medium body seems a bit thin.

Aroma of malts with hoppy notes.
Nice sweet flavour with lots of malts and a nice hoppy finish.

May 21, 2005 Deep golden/light amber in color with a small white head that quickly disapates. Aroma is of sweet toasted malt and oranges. Flavor is sweet malt,grainy with a dry,astringent finish.
