dolemike1 (1116), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 6, 2005 Cloudy, amber body with a small white head, aroma of sugar, raisin, flavor is sweet, like sweet raisins and other overripe fruit, sticky mouthfeel, hint of alcohol in the finish. BeerBlockaid (538), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Jun 1, 2005 Pretty good. I liked it better than the blond. Good thing there is a wire holding the cap on this thing. Thing could take out an eye or small plane. Alcohol is *robertus* and for me, the aroma was the best, and most noticeable thing. blankboy (3165), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 29, 2005 Updated: May 30, 2005Bottle at Ciro’s. For 6% it doesn’t hide the alcohol as well as it should. Pours nicely. Not much aroma. Acidic with unpleasant aftertaste. Found it mediocre at best. argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA May 29, 2005 (11.2oz bottle, notched 02/2005) Hazy copper body topped by a medium-sized beige froth fills out the rest of the pilsner glass lightly. Aroma is sweet, caramel, bready, plum/raisin -- seems like it belongs in a freshly produced pastry. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, raisin and light cherry, floral hoppiness. Light-medium body seems a bit thin. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark May 29, 2005 Draught. Amber colour with a baige head. Light sweet malty raisin aroma and a sweet caramel fruity taste. Medium body and a sweet finish. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 23, 2005 Draught at DBF 2005.
