| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 18, 2004 Bottled. An amber coloured beer with a typically sweet malty aroma for a vienna. The taste is also sweet and malty and quite drinkable. A good example of its style but not a home hitter for me. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada

Clear reddish amber. OK head. Well-hopped aroma with some dark spiciness to it. The taste is spicy, has a certain nut-like character, and is light and pleasant. Enjoyable, prickly mouthfeel. Good drinkability. CaptainCougar (5405), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 9, 2004 Pours a rich copper brown with a thick, puffy, light tan head. Very musky Belgian malty aroma with some stale bittering hops and a touch of tartness. Body starts with a mild caramel sweetness, turning drier and smoother toward the finish. Flavors are quite subdued, but it goes down crisp and hides its alcohol well. A decent Vienna.
