jalichio999 (502), Brazil Nov 29, 2008 Bela cerveja! Final levemente amargo e tostado. Experimente, vale a pena! daniele (1640), Italy Nov 26, 2008 ambrato carico schiuma media dioscreta persistente note maltar leggero tostato pochissimo lupplo anche nel sapore jimmack34 (560), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Nov 21, 2008 Poured hazy copper with soft off white head. Smelled fruity sweet, with hints of brown sugar. Tasted like fermented berries and plum, sugary sweet, maybe a little carmel. Finishes a little bitter. beerbuzzmontreal (2909), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Nov 1, 2008 Pours a reddish copper color with a medium, beige head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Shy aroma of caramel and malt, there’s a rubber presence too. The flavor is awful, yes there’s some caramel and malt, but the dominating element is rubber, this is definitely infected. Oh well.... GRM (1235), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Oct 25, 2008 Brown bottle, 330 ml, best before 06 2009, via Importations Privées Bièropholie, savoured on October 25 2008; eye: copper, lightly hazy, average effervescence, tiny beige head that lasts, no light lacing; nose: only one aroma detected, burnt rubber, probably an infection; mouth: burnt rubber, acridity; overall: infected

Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a darkish orange/amber color. Aromas of roast malts/caramel, sweet smelling. Sweet flavors of caramel with some hops/fruit. Ober (1161), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands Oct 20, 2008 A clear dark red colored beer, with a beige foamed head. The aroma caramel, fruity, malt and a little hop. The taste of fruits like berries/cherries, some sweets and hits of bitterness. There are touches of spices. In the aftertaste a little bitterness lingers on with some sweetness. PaulHegedus (458), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada Oct 18, 2008 2L bottle, opened January 2008. This poured a dark burgundy, red with a good sized head. The flavour was full of fruit: I tasted cherry with a bit of raisin. Raisin in the aroma. It was fun to open the huge bottle and share with friends.
