Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 24, 2002 An amber beer with a nice head. It has a slightly fruity aroma and a slightly metallic prickling fruit and spice flavor - nice and intriguing Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 3, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Very pretty reddish amber with a beige head. Presumably clear and filtered but hides a surprise sediment. Lovely aromatic, almost perfumy. Roasted and caramel malts in the flavours and a promounced sweetnes balanced well by the bittering hops. This is a classy beer indeed. 200602 omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 27, 2007 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear ruby, average sized head. Raisiny ur-bock like nose. Mediium sweet up front with lots of grainy raisiny malt. Solid mouthfeel. Pleasant grassy spicy hops contribute to a much drier finish with lingering bitternes. yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 20, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with an off-white head. Fruity and caramel malty aroma. Slight berry flavour, caramel malty and more dry than sweet. Malt and bitterness lingering into the finish. Good but also a bit on the boring site imho. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Aug 12, 2006 Bottle. Red-brown colour with slight off-white head that dissappears quickly. Weak fruity aroma with malty sweetness. The taste is a bit nutty with caramel sweetness. oh6gdx (8798), Vasa, Finland Dec 28, 2006 Bottled. Amber colour, beige head. Aroma is hard, paper, strawberry, malts and total dryness (no idea what dryness smells like, but this does it). Flavour is strawberry, malts and slight hops. Strawberry and hops in finish and aftertaste. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Jun 23, 2007 Draught at KØ07. Seemingly clear chestnut colour. Big stable head. Soapy, perfumy aroma. The flavour is sweet, but with OK sourness to balance. A bit too sour for me, actually. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 23, 2005 Draught at DBF 2005.
Orange coloured with a small head.
Aroma of malts with hoppy notes.
Nice sweet flavour with lots of malts and a nice hoppy finish.
