Commercial Description:
Christoffel Robertus is a low-fermenting ruby-red beer, brewed in the Münchener-style. It is a malty, fresh beer with a light sweetness. The typical hopbitterness found in Blond, is very lightly present in Robertus. The use of an extensive amount of selected barley gives Robertus the special malty taste and aroma.

swing-top bottle (330ml). -Amber coloured, minimal pale beige head, bready nose. Malty, light hoppy and fruity taste with bready and caramelish notes. Also not so pleasant light vinous hoppy finish. Not so good vienna.

Dark orange color, nice yellow head. Strong carbonation, nice spicy and chocolate flavor with bitter ending. Medium to full body.

Red-brown color, with a creamy head indeed. Kind of malty aroma. Better than the Christoffel Blond IMO.

this one was too cold at the first sip. Do not drink too cold. However, when it warmed up a little it grew a very nice character. if it hadn’t changed it would’ve been a 1.9’er..! too sweet, and a little too much alcohol with nothing to show for it. Not one i will buy again, but if offered i will drink it with pleasure. this beer is just not me. generic 6% cheap strong beer taste, you will probably disagree.

In the bottle from Beertopia. Pours brown, perhaps a very dark amber, with a bountiful fluffy beige head. Nice mild roasted aroma. Flavor is very pleasant with roasted malt, but also a delicious berry taste. Really a surprise for me, as I did not think I would like this as much as I do. Smooth and delightfully easy to drink, it has character owing to the finishing tartness that was a treat.

Bottle at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Reddish amber with a large white foma. Toasted malts, fudge and grass in the aroma. Malty flavour of toasted bread, toffee and caramel. Dark bread and light chocolate in the long aftertaste.

Bottle. Brown beer with a tan head. Malty, mineral aroma. Caramel flavor with some mineral and spice and slight lemon. Caramel and mineral lingers. Medium body. Easy drinking.

Pours a reddish copper color with a medium, beige head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Shy aroma of caramel and malt, there’s a rubber presence too. The flavor is awful, yes there’s some caramel and malt, but the dominating element is rubber, this is definitely infected. Oh well....
