Flavor is sweet and malty, some hops, and some caramel. Nothing really wrong here, but not exactly my type of beer. A bit boring. pilsnerrogge (1782), Finspång, Sweden

According to Michael Jackson this is one of the world’s great beers, but I found it very dry and bitter with some sweetness making it feel unbalanced. Palidor19 (1773), Brandon, Florida, USA

Nice taste of caramel malts. A very worthy beer for your time thornecb (1770), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 17, 2006 Nice hazy brown body with a beige lasting head. Aroma is nutty, with hazelnut and almonds complimented with some milk chocolate, toffee, cherry and a touch of citurs hops. Starts of sweet with lots of caramel malt, maple syrup and biscuits, then it starts to bitter up as it finishes with a drier citrus finish. Lots of nice flavours but just a tad to sweet for me. jfm (1695), Holbæk, Denmark
