Aroma of sweetness, malt, and grains. Taste of this light to medium bodied brew was of mainly malt and throw in some caramel. Not bad but not good. JensenTaster (1588), Denmark

A Vienna??! Served from a small 33ml. bottle, this beer allmost had me for good. It´s rich in every aspect of the malts, hops, dried fruit-and-chocolate-tastes and has very dominat alcohol sharpness to it. Overload on every front is not allways a good thing.
EXTRA. Having a pub with a restaurant, my chef found out that this beer is very good for making sauces, no overwhelming bitterness at all, just round malts and fresh hops. JonMoore (1562), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England

Nice and strong aroma of spices, caramel, yeast and malt. Complex flavours going on; sweet malty taste initially , some sourness later with fruit, nuts and spices in between. Thin to medium moufeel, quite highly carbonated. Could easily pass for a more than decent belgian beer. 17thfloor (1514), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 13, 2009 Pours roughly the same color as the label, a dull desert red with a small white head and some larger ugly bubbles. Very malty aroma, lightly grassy, smells German. Flavor follows nose, rich malty, lightly sweet and toasty, hint of fruit and a bit grassy, so it tastes German too. Medium/light bodied, nice mouthful, not sticky nor chalky, light soda carbonation. Nice maple-syrup finish. I need to try a fresher bottles as this one is a bit old; I have a feeling it would taste much richer. Very drinkable even when old and stale. Eructoblaster (1510), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Decent malty/hoppy aroma with some sweet hints. Taste is slightly sour and carries cherryish notes. Ends with a good bitter,/sour finish. asheft (1508), Marburg, Germany

Plum, cinnamon, tobacco, and dried fruit aroma along with some sour grapes and balsamic vinegar. Murky brown-orange (i.e., not "ruby") with no head to speak of. Cider vinegar and grapey flavour reminiscent of some of my first extract-based beers. I wonder if something went wrong with this bottle--no where near a Vienna. Dry, low carbonation, lingering plum flavour. If I knew better I might say Pediococcus. tomthompson89 (1494), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 17, 2002 Dark hazy orange, bubbly head. Very nice aroma of fresh fruit, yeast, spice, light chocolate and caramelly malt. Body is citrusy and fruity with yeast being dominant and rounded off by an organic hoppiness similar to the blond. Nice sweet malt backbone. Wow, this is an outstanding, complex lager. Unlike any I’ve had, better than the blond, a more reserved hoppiness and a beautiful fruitiness.
