Jan 6, 2006 1 Oct 05 - Big malt hop and some vinuos/spicy clove aromas. Light brown-red colour, good yellow-brown head. Slight spiritous flavour, vinuos and malty flavour. Dry hop finish and a lingering light maltiness, but the mouthfeel could be a bit thicker.

Oct 13, 2008 Snappin-fresh B33cl bottle enjoyed at Castros in the Beach. WOW! Dense body and translucent dark color. Grape aroma with hints of yeast. Tastes of toffee malts and herbal honey and a bit of dark dry apricot, and nice tingle of hops. I thought it was Belgian in character. Exceptional.

Nov 21, 2003 This is a good Vienna. Malty, sweet, slightly bitter, and fruity flavor. Finishes crisp, clean, and dry.

Dec 2, 2007 2 litre jug (?there must be a name for this - glass jug, metal handle, flip top?). Translucent orange-brown with a small, off-beige head. Aroma is sweet-spicy-fruity. Flavour is the same; dark fruit, syrup-sweet malt, brown spice. Nice hoppy finish. Damn, I like this style.

Jun 29, 2008 Baby swingtop supplied by sloth. "Pop" went the top and the nose of sour apple/pear/cherry wafted on up and hit my nose. A film of a head on a murky brown semi hazy body. Must of been on the turn. remains of hop essence and some malt character but thinner than expected. I’ve ot had much luck with Viennas these days....Never did like that city.

Nov 14, 2005 Pleasant, somewhat unsophisticated flavor. Nice body. Tastes like a malty lager, it’s got a good clean flavor without the unpleasant aftertaste of many lagers.

May 29, 2004 Decent taste, but a little too much on the sweet side. Looks great, and comes in quaint little patent bottles.
