May 8, 2005 Deep copper coloured beer with a thick pale yellow head. Nutty and malty aroma with a noticable noble hop aroma as well. Flavour is well balance with strong bready and toasty malt accented beer. Light nuttiness in the finish. Well done.

Jan 6, 2006 Pours a clear, light brown body with ruby highlights. The head, intially tall and bubbly, soon transforms into a slender halo. The aroma is a mixture of caramel and butterscotch with a hint of raisins. Light-bodied and lively in the mouth, it presents a sweet malty flavor, caramel, toffee, and butterscotch. The fruit is gone, but a soft, mild bitterness takes its place. The finish is sweet with a touch of nutty bitterness.
